I already bought the Essex kit Sprint kit but just out of curiosity, how would these rear match up with the front Essex kits?

They'd probably be fine, but I'm going to have to have our engineers run the math when we are open next week. We'll need to check the torque output on the rear kit vs. stock, and see if it's in an acceptable range. Again, it would probably be a fine setup. If you went with silver rear calipers, they'd probably mate up visually fine with our anodized fronts. Red may look a little lopsided though. The discs on both ends of the car would be J Hooks.

Sounds good. I would still love a 2 pot kit specially made for the Essex kits

So this is below the Sprint kit in terms of performance? Would it be for the guy who daily drives his car and tracks once in a while?

For those who can't run the Sprint kit or won't due to its limitations on climate. That kit is race built with lighter discs and no dust boots; I would hope this is lighter but I won't bet on it...but it's at least fully streetable due to the finish and boots.

no offense, but if someones going to spend the money to upgrade their brakes, they would have probably already had already upgraded their wheels, no? nonetheless awesome brake kit!

I agree but if it can fit with stock wheels that just means there's more wheel options.

Some people will probably use the stockers for their rain setup.

Since the stock wheels fit does the spare fit as well? If not does anyone know of another car with 5x100 that has a larger spare? Maybe something with stock 18s.

Being able to use the OEM wheels is very tempting to me - not to run all the time, but for a track or winter wheel option. Currently using the stockers as my winter wheels with good winter tires.

Buy some spacers if your worried. The Essex Sprint with a 20mm spacer fits the spare. Then again I have doubts it would fit this BBK since the calipers look to be bigger and farther out compared to the Sprint

Check the provided wheel fitment template on our blog...that is why they are provided.

Jeff, is the wheel fitment template for the front kit incorrect?

The template says the disc is 332mm, but the diameter is listed as 343mm on the info page. Can you double check to see whether or not the template is correct?

*EDIT* After checking AP's site, it looks like the front is 332mm and not 343mm. Rears are 335mm though.
