Sure did. I had the fastest lap time (a full second faster than the dark scotsman all day) until one of the Formula 1 trained drivers beat my time by almost a second at the last duel (he was less than half my age and these old bones were tired at the end of the day).
Still not bad for a decrepid old fart with Arthur's itis.

Vino Verde, with a creamy cold seafood stew (yum), the wine will be easy with lots of different green wines. The boullaibasse will depend on the region and the cook.

Have fun !

My mouth is watering just thinking about the Vino Verde.

I had a good day at the track as well, of the possible 180 points in the club finals I managed to get 172 which put me 32 points ahead of the guy in second place. I love racing on a wet track as it evens out the machine and puts everything into the driver's hands. So my season total out of 780 was 752. My best year ever.
See you later when we are back in town

I think I NEED to wrap the oil pan.

Thoughts ?

An oil cooler will solve the problem better than wrapping the pan. Many members have found oil temp issues on the track even in stock form. oil cooler is a must-have if you are tracking, IMO.

Its coming, the wrap is until the cash starts budding on the branches.

So how are the tunes working for everyone?

Debating between Ecutek (stage 1 or 2) or Vishnu. Currently running TRD CAI/Catback and the FT86SpeedFactory UEL header.

I just bought a OFT running stage 1 of their 2.0 beta. Car runs great. It feels 100% better than stock. For the price and ease its nice. I just have no interest in tuning myself.

Ditto. Stage 1 OFT feels great, logs look pretty healthy too.

Ran OFT OTS stage 1 for a day and I thought it ran very nicely. Both smoother yet responding with more vigour (which the OE has at 3k and 5k) more evenly across the revrange. Even GF says it's easier to drive. Only one day, since then running Stage 2 UEL E85 map, as above just some more eagerness/poke again. Just plug and play and checking for ok logs the day after, haven't looked at the OFT since.

One thing to watch out for, any CAI could throw of the MAF calibration so some logging and tweaking might be needed.

That said, if I had a local tuner with a good rep with this platform and reasonable prices for actual tuning on a dyno, I would go there first.

(Hardware: FT86SF catted UEL header, Milltek res CBE, drop-in air filter and Perrin intake pipe)

355rockit?

If you want plug and play and not worry about knock on different fuel qualities while logging constantly, stage 1 is a safer bet.

According to Shiv from vishnu, you may run stg 2 uel if you have all other exhaust bolt ons, but he recommended to data log to make sure if stg 2 is safe to run.

And that rocket never showed a log to prove it.

Yeah, he just keep saying it works fine, but no supporting logs. At least he has no issue yet with stg 2~

I did try Stage 2 UEL for over a week. Here's the log:
http://www.datazap.me/u/chas3wba0/st...0&data=1-11-12

No knock issues that I could tell, but also no noticeable gains over Stage 1 so I switched back to be safe. Plus, Shiv said himself that Stage 1 would work fine for catted headers. Stage 2 was designed for catless headers only, and the cat in our header isn't even high-flow. I'd go with what the developer says on this one.
