Just Because, Im going to break even with NA!!
EDIT :: I've never drank my coffee black on purpose, but its happened. I can confirm that I've crapped lightning... and I have dreams of fighting economical crime with some crazy green leotards! dunno about spit fire, but I've had a wicked case of projectile vomit after drinking too much straight liquor. |

I don't know very much about subaru/toyotas but I wonder if this motor will respond well to bolt ons? I've owned an rsx for about 3 years and from the different mods i've done, it responds pretty well to just bolt ons. If this thing could make 200-210whp with just bolt ons and a tune that would be nice.

It might not respond as well since the engine will be super engineered. They will try to squeeze every last bit of HP until emissions is a problem.
I'm guessing if it comes out with 203bhp then I/H/E would be around a 10-20 whp bump? Making it close to 200whp if not more ? Equal length headers, nothing larger than 2.25", intake (take your pic) or ITB's, Single exit exhaust (more flow), a pro-tune with 91,93, or E85, and some drivetrain stuff you should IMO have a great car. Imagine 220whp without fail wheel drive I have it too and well i'm tired of pulling |

Eh... not quite. It's going to need around 1 - 1.2 bhp per 10 lb of vehicle to piss off the guys in Mustangs and Camaros.
Last I heard, the turboed version will be in that ball park, but not N/A. Even better would be 1 - 1.2 whp per 10 lb. |

I'd take a N/A version... if it was 285 hp, lightweight, and sat low in the frame...
Since that isn't bloody likely... FA all the way! plus FA is probably cheaper, more reliable, and produces power throughout the curve... |

^^^ Not to mention that if the motor can handle boost and it's already turboed, it's not all that hard to increase the power.
N/A power upgrades tend to be pricey (and relatively minimal) on a small motor that's already been well tuned from the factory. |

I've discovered OldSkoolToys previously secret n/a dream car project being displayed at TAS !! (I think Captain Planet helped him with it!) Now, if it had a FI engine it might be able to chase down the wienermobile...
