We both have catback exhaust. Mine has the invidia catback & lexani lx seven tires (worse then stock imo) & the sti has just custom catback exhaust

Oh & I just wanna say, if yall r interested in seeing some other racing vids where im/we're considered the underdog, feel free to check out the other videos posted on my name on youtube. Cant post on here due to the fact that they're "forbidden" vids but lol I think everyone here might enjoy them. & everyone on my vids were talking shit about the frs, saying id/we'd lose to them but... lol theres the proof were better.
Theres a modded v6 mustang vs my frs & I didnt really care much to race this guy but he was talking shit saying hed beat me, so I raced this new tc as well. Hope yall enjoy the vids. Leave comments & like/dislikes lol

That is the way a good run feels; I get out of the car shaking. Nice job.

Videos posted & the car handled great. Took me 2 runs to adapt to the worse tires I bought buut in the end they & the car made slides & cornering very predictable. Just wish they wouldn't have made my accel suffer.

when he is stage 2, suspensoin, with wheels and tires..and you are the same (let's say suspension, wheels and GOOD tires, and a full exhaust, intake and tune)...
then race.

you'll be quite surprised. if you guys both have equal driving skills, he should get a quicker time.

Well the sti's already have summer tires, good tuned suspension, more power then the wrx. What else would he need? Lol. Considering I went in the opposite direction w grip by accident, id say this is already more then anything, a race That was from the start more in his favor... on paper anyways. I don't see how i kept up or best him at that

hmm you have much to learn about the sti's.
the factory tires are garbage (on the new models). the 04-07 had the nice potenza's which dominated.
the factory suspension is floaty and really all over. they are soft vehicles. once again 04-07 were better cars. power has no effect given the vehicle's weight.

a stage 2 sti wakes up dramatically. i want to see you guys do it again with mods!

The 11+ STI models don't have the soft suspension you're thinking about (you're thinking 08-10). Also the stock Dunlop's on the GR STI's may not be competitive with other tires in the extreme performance category (Star Specs, AD08s, RS3s), but are so much better than the "Lexani" tires the OP is on, it's not even worth comparing.

The STI driver has no excuse for losing.

exactly! i mean, yes the chassis was revised since the 08-10 models, but nothing that some sway bars and a proper spring can do. the dunlops are poop i'm sure he def made more grip than the fr-s. he does not have an excuse, which is why i blame this on driver error. i would think that the sti would take the fr-s. but a stock sti is pretty bland off the showroom floor. 305 horses feels like 225.

Congrats man! :happy0180:

Nothing beats that feeling of making someone eat their own shit, I hope you keep punishing him.

I wouldnt be surprised if he is already getting stuff ready for 'stg2'.
