We have similar issues with block warmers in parts of our country.

wow that video is garbage. He has no business being anywhere near a stage.

The truck looks like it belongs in a computer game from the 80's, so I am not surprised a computer geek liked the way it looks.

I have no idea where he thought having a steel outer shell would be a good idea or useful in any way.

Don't worry, that huge truck is not meant for Europe. In fairness, vehicles park on both sides of one-way streets all over London, so there isn't really a "good" side to put the charger on. One of Tesla's major design flaws is not putting the charge port on the front of the car even though other electric cars had already figured that out.

South florida needs block heaters? Lol, for when it drops to a frigid 85 degrees!

Meanwhile, I'm working outside in a long sleeve shirt during a nice 45 degree day.

Well, it won’t rust, and it keeps costs down without the need for paint. Also, it shows damage much less.

In another way, this will be the easiest vehicle to wrap. The shape is ideal for businesses too like a rolling billboard.

No but north dakota needs them. Haven't been there in a long time though. Maybe they've found another solution lol

From a business point of view these could make a lot of sense. What they're capable of doing is far more important than what they look like.

But, electricity prices are on the rise so it could be made obsolete before it gets off the ground...

I'm also thinking that the cable on the pavement is not a good 'look'... I can see local cats and dogs pissing on such things.. and what about the rats... Yuck... I would hate having to pick up the cable to throw in the back of the car... Grubby yucky thing....

So you are saying to fix their absolutely terrible paint problems we see on model 3's they are just getting rid of paint all together.

I just wonder if Musk does this to see how much total garbage his fans will take and still spend insane amounts of money on his cars.

The design is just so retro futuristic it's funny and entertaining.

The feedback from the intended audience isn't bad. Not odd at all that people frequenting an old school sports car styled car are not fans. The people interested in it probably think we are archaic with our swooping body lines, ICE and manual trannys. They may just be right.

Engineering Explained has several videos showed the cost of recharge is minimal and with solar makes it even cheaper.

As for the truck I'm no fanboi looks like shit, the glass demo made me laugh.

Don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it yet, but Tesla has amassed 146,000 orders (reservations) of the cybertruck since they announced it. Not too shabby for a DeLorean F-150 Tank looking thing
