Seems to me that in USA etc the inline amp may not be required - just the adapter wired in. I will try and get a photo of where it is wired for you. I think your Oz frequencies are similar to ours.

I wonder if it is due to the range of FM frequencies we use here that the inline amp may be required - then again, don't know if it is going to work yet! Tuesday is the day.

Got the unit woot. Now to sort out how to wire it all up, don't suppose someone has a write up of what they did?

Do only two of the three connectors on the harness line up? Mines four pins short on the largest white connector

Is the root files for this unit the same as your first post? I'm on page 20 trying to find them

The package is perfect and the connections complete for the Toyota harness.Just prepare the wiring for the reverse camera and the brake contact.
I'm just waiting to receive the antenna harness to mount the headunit in the car. During this time I will have a look on the light to see if it remain possible to change the color.
which cable, wiring solution for the rear camera on T7019. ?

I don't understand the meanings of "brake wire" and "reverse" wire on T7019A harness.
I have a rear camera with RCA (OK) red/black 12v/ground cable: where to wire? and near RCA plug (on each side) a short wire (red):where to wire them? My rear camera comes with poor install sheet.

Maybe this..... http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=111

"cameras have dual taps on their power wire -- one near the camera and another near the HU. Rydeen's intention was that you power the camera by tapping your reverse lights wire (near the camera). The second lead would be available to provide the reverse gear signal to an aftermarket HU or monitor screen. But you can simply use the lead near the HU to power the camera (and insulate the lead near the camera)."

UHm..I open the back panel to verify DVB-T module (there isn't of course )...I saw a wide mainboard (horizontal) and a panel board. I think that the job isn't complex...on front panel.

This is how I have installed my camera on the stock GPS unit. Not sure if this is the correct wire to use for the T7019A

@pheoxs I rooted my device using the same files @2forme posted. The root files are in post 1 on page 1 mate. Just follow his instructions EXCEPT you need to use a micro SD card and put it into the LEFT micro SD slot as the right one has nothing in it and you'll lose the micro SD card inside the unit like I did!

To wire it in just plug the stock plugs into the back of the unit. You only really need the main power one and antenna adapter (buy separately) plugged in with the blue antenna 12V wire connected to power from the adapter too.

I have plugged in the two plugs with all the RCA plugs and iPod connection in as well but other than the iPod connector I have nothing connected to the RCAs etc but have left them plugged in for safe keeping.

LOL.

Got a friend that is an electronics whiz, @Tech, that may look at swapping out the green LEDs for me. If he does I'll make sure I get lots of photos as that will definitely void the warranty!!!
