You're better off using the money on a good set of springs, or even adding front/rear braces. You'll find more benefit from them.
Adding front/rear braces will improve the rigid of the car, but also will lose body
flex which will make daily drive a little bit more uncomfortable.
Is that correct? Thanks.

Ps. How about change the springs?
I know will lower the car which looks better.
Any benefit for daily driving? Thanks again.

Correct, braces act to stiffen the chassis of the car, so there will be increased NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) in the car. Springs are a good option to increase responsiveness and stability in the turns. It will also reduce the amount of body roll while cornering. This is a recommended upgrade even for a daily driver IMO. What you'll want to look for is a spring set with the same spring rate as OEM and can be matched to the OEM shocks in the car. This will not only maximize the longevity of your suspension, but will also retain the same ride quality as OEM. As far as I know, racecomp, swift, TRD, and STI springs are the closest match to this criteria.

The STI goodies continue to roll in. Added the oil filler cap and shift knob to the car. I was actually quite surprised how heavy the knob was for an AT shifter.

On that note, my interior is nearly complete. The next steps are:

1. Armrest: my 86 aichi japan unit is currently backordered so I'm not sure when I'll receive this, but it should be within then next week or so. It's the removable type that covers the entire center glovebox. I decided to go with this one over hinge designs like the OEM one because I feel its just easier and cleaner to just remove the armrest whenever there are drinks. Not liking the idea of having an armrest in an awkward open position, especially if there's a passenger.

2. Speaker Pads: going for JDM, of course, but I want to take it one step further. I will be purchasing the 6 piece set that has the silver ring trim pieces. I will then be shipping them over to JPM Coachworks to have them wrapped in alcantara. Thus, I get the best of both worlds. JDM design with beautiful alcantara material. It's too bad JPM can't just source the JDM units.

3. Alcantara Steering Wheel: speaking of JPM Coachworks, can't wait to purchase their steering wheel. Adds a touch of class AND will be comfortable and grippy in the hands. I can't get enough go how great their quality is.

4. Badge of Ownership: finally decided to get my badge of ownership from Subaru. I wanted to add something to the silver dashboard trim and this looks like the perfect item for a little personal mod. Decided to go simple and just get the main badge (my 1st Subaru! :thumb up and add the performance badge to it. I will be adding it to the passenger side of the trim.

So those are the items I plan to be adding for sure. Other than that, still up in the air. I can complete my alcantara set by getting the handbrake boot but for some reason I like how the faux leather trim of the boot matches the color scheme of the soft plastic, but we shall see. Anyway, if you guys have got ideas or feedback for me, feel free to give them here!

More additions to the car. Finished up the LED lighting with the courtesy lights from HID Powerhouse. They are definitely a lot brighter than I thought it would be, but its definitely a nice addition. Adds some lighting to the cabin when the door is open, especially since I don't like using the dome light (something about having a bright LED light illuminating your whole face in the black night seems awkward to me).

Couldn't resist grabbing a shot of the boomerang while I was testing the lights out.

Also finally received my 86 armrest from Aichi Japan. This is a specialty dealer option from Aichi Toyota. It is NOT OEM, but definitely has OEM quality. It's also my favorite design by far among all the armrests out there. Not a big fan of the actual OEM armrest because I feel like when you do have drinks you leave it in its upright position. Just looks weird, especially if there is a passenger.

Up next are my rear view camera, STI strut bar, and Grazio tinted side markers!

Great build so far. I will be getting my WRB Limited 6MT in about a weeks time and will be taking some inspiration from your posts I especially like your badge of ownership idea... I think that will be a cool touch.

Thanks to @MikesFRS for taking a quick video of my Stromung exhaust free reving. I am looking to get some more robust video of the exhaust as the car is running both in and outside of the cabin.

I love the OEM+ style you're going for, along with switchlanez and Beyer Subaru.

Keep the pics coming!!

First of all, great looking car! Since it looks like you've had the chance to try both, I thought I'd ask which you liked better—the STI pinks or the RCE yellows? And also if you don't mind me asking, where did you buy the pinks (japanparts.com?) and how much are they after shipping? I told myself I wouldn't start messing with suspension, but the wheel gap on this car is killing me. Thanks.

Here it is for reference:

The angle of the picture makes it look crooked, but its aligned horizontally.

I haven't actually had a chance to drive my brother's FRS aggressively to test out the yellows. Under normal driving circumstances, they're pretty much indistinguishable. The RCEs drop an additional 5mm, which doesn't sound like much, but is actually noticeable. See my comparison picture above and you can tell the RCEs are just a tad lower. I got my STI pinks off japan parts. I think they were around 450 shipped? You can actually get an estimate off the site without putting in the order. Because exchange rates change daily, its best to do that to get the best accuracy in price.
