I DD'd Pro-Kits for 65,000 miles. IMO, they are a great option for pairing with OEM struts. They are progressive. Which makes the ride still comfortable, while being stiffer than OEM.

Thanks for your feedback. Yeah, that's what I read everywhere (so far). Both Hotchkis & Pro-Kit work nicely on stock struts. |

And what year is your car? I wouldn't want to use 2013 struts. I'd like to replace the ones on my car. I just gotta get off my ass.

I have '14 BRZ and struts and springs are pretty much brand new. Maybe have 3k on it (prob less than that). Cuz when I bought BRZ, within 2 months, Moto-san send those coils. After that, it's been in the garage. I was looking into Koni, Bilstein or Cusco struts, but didn't wanna spend too much if I don't like lower springs. |

WHERE IS THE PICTURE??
I just got back from a trip to Walmart with the granddaughters. WOW! Walmart was slammed with old people. The old ladies behind the deli counter were more retarded today than usual. What is sooo damn hard about understanding three quarters of a pound of ham? The retarded check out lady, who is usually slow was barely moving today. She could only use one arm because her other one hurt (she said she had "frozen shoulder"). When I got back, mrs humfrz complained that I got the generic brand of Benadryl instead of the name brand stuff. She can't seem to understand that the generic is the same stuff, same capsules, same strength, it's just packaged different and HALF THE COST. I guess it's time for another "we are on a fixed income lecture"! The bed is still wet because the girls had a sleepover last night, because their mother had to be at her work at 0400 this morning. Yes, the "potty trained" 3 year old, which slept with us, peed the bed - big time, right past the worthless pull up type diaper thing. I haven't had lunch yet and I'm starving. It is waaaay past my nap time - and the bed is still wet - So, Ultramaroon, I'll tend to you later - humfrz |

I've found that most people really like and recommend their springs for this car. I'm thinking it has to be the car, because normally people have issues with springs on other cars. So, maybe it doesn't matter and you will be happy with anything.
I've loved my TRD springs on stock shocks. 12k miles now. I actually think it rides better and is stiffer in corners. Been considering bilsteins, but I'm really not displeased with current handling and not sure if it will mess things up and make it too harsh. |

my guess: 50% are doing it as a joke, 25% want to go but can't for some reason, leaving 25% that will actually show up and go through with it. so around 500,000 will be there.

Though in fairness, my springs aren’t the reason for my poor handling. And it’s definitely not me trying to do too much steering input. It has to be my 245/40/17 RE71R! |
