I imagine she has some sort of allergy that would require an EpiPen, rather than all children have to have one nowadays? |

As far as a school nurse having that knowledge, all that information is on the Internet and some of it was even on the local news. As far as the shortage, I'm guessing that the drastically reduced profit margins caused the manufacturers to reduce production thus creating a shortage - Yep, she has an allergic condition that may require an EpiPen injection. They are not required for all children. Well, anyway, school will not start tomorrow anyway, because of a teachers strike. humfrz |

We're on a well for water. The idiot who installed a lot of our plumbing decided to mix iron nipples with brass valves. Two leaks so far, so I decided to replace it all. Gods, what a nightmare that was. One mistake and fuck no I'm not driving to home depot = a mess of right turns. It's ugly but it works. Now the well autofills the tank again, as the Gods intended. Next up is replacing a bunch more to get the bypass in place and avoid the last point of possible failure.

Tomorrow I go to the dealer for the... third time in a month? The new, free under warranty, steering wheel is in, so that gets replaced.
Also hoping the service manager will be there so we can get the roof rust approved for a work order at their body shop. Wish me luck guys.

I'm sitting at a ramen restaurant in Kyoto and I'm watching a TV that shows the devastation Typhoon Jebi has caused in Osaka.
@ichitaka05 Do you have folks over in the affected regions? |

In the end, single engine private planes are more dangerous than cars, in much the same way that motorcycles are more dangerous than cars, but I do not believe it is a magnitude more dangerous. The one place where planes differ is a lot of accidental deaths are a result of either running out of fuel or flying into conditions you are not capable of handling. Both of those are almost entirely preventable. At least to me, it all boils down to flying being less forgiving of human error.

You can have the opportunity to do it twice, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it, the odds aren't with you.
