I concur that CWP is the most flattering color choice for this car. It looks good in person, it looks good in photos from most angles and it is easier to match other parts (wheels, aero, etc.) to it.

WRB, is all Subaru. Its classic. Can't go wrong.

Congrats on the 17 again, glad you are okay, and I'm sure pulling off the lot this time will go much better.
I agree that white is probably this car's best colour, but it's everywhere. My wife is also pulling for blue. Our ATS is white and she's tired of cars in various shades of white and grey.

Anyway, tough luck especially as you took a car with summer rubber that needed winters if below 8C. You probably were headed to a tire place.
Yeah, it was declared a total loss. I'm not sure I would buy it salvage. It was a slow rollover, but still a roll and there was damage to both the front and rear suspension, driver's door, roof and lights.

I did have winters on the way that I was going to get put on the next day. As for your daughter's insurance, it's actually pretty affordable in Ancaster. Mine went down by 70% after getting married married and moving from North York to Ancaster.

Yeah, she's probably getting her way. As an aside, it appears I crashed one of three Pure Reds remaining for sale in Canada. The factory is also (according to the dealership) apparently not building any more until next year. Hurray.

Guarantee you someone will restore that car our chassis is one tough son of a gun. Salvage market on these cars is already crazy with how much these cars are going for.

Delivery complete

I took delivery last night and got it home without totaling it. Mission accomplished. I will do a write-up and take some pictures with the micro 4/3s later on when I have some free time.

Verdict after one day: I am so glad I purchased this car.

I have had my 2017 BRZ for a couple months now. I previously had a 2013 FRS.

I've done driving impressions and baseline dyno's. The BRZ made 5hp and 4lb.ft more than my stock FRS did, on the same dyno, same time of year with similar WCF. I like the 2017 car better overall, the gearing change makes a big difference in the power delivery.

With partial race setup (for autocross), the BRZ weighed 125lbs more than my FRS did in its full prep. The BRZ is missing the race seats and all the lightweight exhaust components still. It will be lighter than my FRS when the rest of the parts are in. It is not much heavier if at all.

Yep. Everything will fit perfectly. There isn't enough difference for things not too.
