good question, not sure. i do know my OEM key opens the trunk with the button.

Generally the keys need to be cloned on proper hardware (EG: Silca RW4 ), you can't just log in with a tatrix cable and do it.

On an OEM key you don't clone anything. You just pair the new key with Techstream.
