OFT Which tune/bin?

I'm sure this info is out there, but for the life of me I can't seem to find it (I know it's gotta be somewhere obvious, but I'm not seeing it).

Within the folders of different tunes (specifically Stage 2, EL, E85), there are a lot of different BIN files. What's the difference between them?

they correspond to the ecu revision/region/year
like NA 2013 is B01C

when you plug the OFT into the car and read the ECU, it should show you your revision on the screen, should also show you in Open Flash Manager somewhere. I would get a screen shot but mines currently at home, and I am not, but should be pretty easy to figureout. I think its on the main screen what your revision is, just use the bins out of the revision.

and in case your wondering why it matters, the tables values go to different memory locations on different revisions I believe, so if you use a rom from the wrong revision you might write to the wrong places which can lead to overwriting critical code, bricked, ECUs, and other bad things.

Long story short be careful to use the revision that matches your car.

if your still unsure post some screenshots of open flash manager with your oft plugged in and I'm pretty sure someone here can help you.

The oft wont let you load wrong calibration ID.

Your original rom was A00C, and the OFT has effectively updated yo to B01C roms.

But you still load A00C oft tunes
