Today I resisted spending a lot more money. A loss in some people's book. A win in my book, as I really want to get the ***ch out on my first track day before spending much more $. I will probably buy a header before then (alright planned on it), but in my opinion, driving instruction/HPDE is vastly more useful than more "stuff". ;-)

I'm totally envious of all your parts, by the way. Lucky bastards. :-)

Very easy. I found everything I needed to know on these forums. I think the camera, adapter, and tools were around $130. Here are all of the links I saved in my notes.
I have these wider angle mirrors on the way: http://www.rexpeed.net/2012/en/produ...php?serial=335 The camera and mirrors are probably the very first mods to consider.

Edit: the only part that isn't really easy is running the wire from the trunk lid to the trunk through the rubber tube. Be patient and get a second set of hands if you can.

Thanks! I don't think it is necessary to paint them as they look pretty decent out the box. Rock chips will eat away at the paint eventually. IMO only reason to paint would be a different color scheme. Kind of a waste to paint something black...black.

Put this in. It was $6 and I thought it would be a nice little accent for the interior.

Next up, and I blame @idanvan for this, is to debadge the rear. It looks so much nicer without the badges.

8 weeks? That's an insane wait time.
Have you checked anywhere a little outside of your local shops?

Or Canada, for that matter?

Wanted to experiment with a DSLR so I tried taking some pictures. No tripod and I'm a complete monkey, so they aren't stellar but I liked a few of them anyway. The camera's sensor also has two faulty pixels-- very annoying, especially when shooting video where they can't be removed.

Interior and plate lighting are Diode Dynamics' stage 2 items, if anyone's wondering.

Also shot some video, just ****ing around and practicing focus pulls. Caught a clip of exhaust vapor being lit up by the tails that I thought was kind of cool:

For the specs I want, 18X9.5 +40 5X100 Pressed Graphite, they are out of stock everywhere in North America.

I do love those wheels. I want to be wingless so bad! No one is available to swap with, and a new trunk lid costs $300 before painting. Looking sweet there, Sir! Love the TOM'S.
