it looks like you put the remote next to the push-start button. i'm guessing ignition doesn't rely on the key fob sending any signals to the car. instead, the car probably picks up some type of non-powered mechanism inside the fob (RFID?) and allows you to start the vehicle.

I found some stuff about the fuel requirements and recommendations that I posted in the 93 Octane thread. Obviously, I paid more attention to the parts about Ethanol but I included the details about the minimum octane performance so hopefully I contributed something.

The DIY stuff is pretty cool, it's been awhile since I read a car manual. I had forgotten they have those for the basics.

I didn't see the weight figures in the book, only where to find them on the car.

If this has been answered earlier than please forgive me but:

Page 418: "Tires & Wheels: Type A: 205/55/16 16x6.5"

Does this mean we get the 16" wheel option like Japan?? I was under the impression all USDM BRZs were the 17" wheel.

I was wondering that too actually, I bet they just took the JDM manual and rewrote in English without bothering to account for the slight differences. Maybe.

I mean I know it's a long shot because all the press-cars wear the 17" rubber, but that'd be an awesome at least option for me personally. I MUCH prefer those 16"s to the 17"s.

inst and av MPG displayed on the dash, adjustable rev light, up/down manual level adjusting headlights. And the ability to reprogram so one unlock does both doors. Nice stuff. Thanks for the link!
