Yes, I had the Speedsters while it was a 50/50 street/track car. They aren't really anymore supportive than the excellent stock seats. I got them so I can use 6-pt harnesses on the track. Cantrell Motorsports made custom mounts so they were just a bit lower than stock seats.

Yes, you still need to brace a bit. The main thing that affects needing to brace is to switch to full harnesses. Even then, I still needed to brace myself a little. Hence the switch to the race seats.

Love the car. Do you have any detailed pics of the roll bar from Cantrell? How do you like it? I have been looking around for a quality bolt-in 4pt for a while.

Should be easy enough to cover the plates. I’ve stripped the car and had the bar fully welded in so I won’t be going back!
