Hello,

I've been a long time fan of the BRZ/GT86 when I first saw them on the Nurburgring back in 2013. I've been driving a 2005 Scion xA RS1 for 14 years until a semi backed into it last month and totaled it. Perfect timing, the money I got from the trucking company paid off my wife's Prius and freed me to get the car I've wanted for the last 6 years.

I picked up an asphalt 2019 Toyota 86 GT. I love the snot out of this thing.

Just got my 2019 86 this morning. I've been waiting 7 weeks to receive it, which is kind of surprinsing since the twins have been on the market for a while now. Anyways...

The dealership manager was kind enough to install my wheels and tires prior the delivery. It made the day even more special that way. FYI these are Superspeed RF03RR 18X8.5 +35 square with Firestone Indy 500 235/40. I also got the TRD springs (Eibach Pro Kit) already installed. The fit is nearly perfect on all corners. With camber bolts tomorrow, it will be spot on.

So far I'm thrilled with pretty much everything about this car. I was eating dinner earlier with my wife and I was wondering why my jaw and cheeks were sored. Then I realize it's because I had a smile on my face all day driving around.

Hello everyone! I am a big car fan since I was little and I fell in love with AE86 when I was 13 years old (from Initial D ofc). Too bad they're too scarce and I can't drive stick (coming challenge in the future), so I got a AT 2015 FR-S last winter.
I am in love with the car, even fueling my love for motorized vehicles!
I am looking forward to watching my car improve from the threads, and also watching my bank account fly out the window...

Hello, RWD Lovers

Greetings, all. I'm another lurker that's been tracking the aftermarket rhythm/progress for this platform for the last few years. I'm still debating between a BRZ and a 370Z for a fun build that I plan to stretch out over the course of at least 2-3 years...a side project, if you will.

I'll be starting a new thread in general forum looking for input from those that have a better understanding of the 86's platform and what it's strengths/limitations are when compared to something like the 370z.

Cheers to all enjoying your 86-based car or future purchasers!

Hello! New 86 owner from VA here, Just bought my 19’ 86 last week and absolutely love it! Can’t seem to stop smiling and coming up with excuses to just drive the car lol. Not new to the car scene though. I drove an 8th gen civic Si for about 6 years, due to some fortunate and Un-fortunate circumstances I am now moving on into the world of toyota

I thought it was "red 5". Now I am confused.

Hello! Potential owner and longtime lover of the GT86, and with the upcoming opportunity to own one of my own I figured I should join here to ask any questions I might come up with.

So far this seems like a nice community. =)
