Because the boxer engine pushed up near the driver allows for the ultra-low sloped hood and flared fenders, spare the Corvette, you really have to step up to Maserati's, Aston Martins and exotics to achieve that look, no?

Is there another economy car that has executed a 'super car-esque' hood design with those curves? It truly has to be a paramount goal prior to the vehicle engineering to produce that exterior style.

Well it wasn't the idea of the brand but how the look of the twins are interpreted.

This just happened an hour ago...

"I thought it was a Ferrari." - QuikTrip employee who wandered over.

"Sorry to disappoint you." - Me

(His manager has a lowered FR-S on KW3s parked behind the gas station too.)

This is what the inside of a real track race car looks like.
People who are stroking leather and discussing cup holders are not the target market of this car.
The BRZ interior is perfect. Why? Because it's light and simple. Zero bullshit.

I don't know, humfrz.... Looking awfully cushy there with your padded corduroy door cards and carpeting. Are those side windows I see? So fancy with your "keeping out the elements" and all that.

This can't be a real race car! The steering wheel is on the wrong side!

I think I want some comfort with my toys.

If I wanted a stripped down track car i'd get a Lotus Elise.

Hell if you want to go all out all you really need is an engine, a seat and a rollcage for some semblance of safety all sitting on some sort of chassis with wheels.

Here you go, this was my father's 1932 Frontenac. He gave it to my sister and brother-in-law as a wedding present.
