@Jlturner --

Thanks kinda sucks that you have to drive all the way down to Regina just to get a free oil change...
But is it worth it though? I mean 3 hours just for an oil change. And with the gas prices so damn high.

But anyways, are you sure you live in Saskatoon?
*Laughs* I've yet to see your FR-S in St'oon yet. Just BRZ's here and there, usually downtown and 8th street.

I think i'll just call Taylor Scion in the future to see
what's up for my future FR-S. Because I ain't waiting until 2014, 2015. For the Scion dealership in S'toon to open...

TL;DR -- It sucks you have to drive to Regina for a free oil change.
Do you live in S'toon Jlturner? And F**K that I ain't waiting for S'toon to open a Scion dealership.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've also visited my local Subaru dealership in Saskatoon.
Amazing customer service, easy to talk to,
If you want your BRZ you better put down your money because they're selling like hot cakes!

TL;DR -- Saskatoon Subaru Dealership has great employees check them out!

Good to hear. When I first inquired about BRZ, I called s'toon Subaru Dealer where they proceeded to tell me that they could not get any more BRZ until 2013. So I bought at the first dealer that wanted to sell me a car, that ended up being Auto Gallery Regina. This was back in June 2012
On a side note, block heater finally came in a week ago for my BRZ as per Auto Gallery Parts dept. So I guess I will get that put in being that it's paid for
Just cracked 1500 km which is obviously low mileage concidering I've had the car for over 3 months. Hope to take it on a nice long road trip before I park it for the winter. Lots of mods on the way, hope to have a few of them done soon

Awaiting...

. ECUTEK Cable & Tune - Got tune files!
. Takeda Cat-Back Exhaust
. Billet Short Shifter
. Cusco Front Power Braces
. STi Front Lip & Rear - Just got them!

Ideally I'd have a 4Runner for winter and the FR-S for summer. But I just don't have the room or money for that... Maybe I should buy lottery tickets....

@Rob --

Sell the truck and buy the FR-S, and for winter take the bus or cab to work...

I am always out on 8th street, usually hanging out at Tim Horton's at the mall. Hopefully the snow holds off for a while and I can keep the car out, I'm not ready to park it!

Cool, I usually go up and down Spidina Crescent E -- WhiteSwan Dr.

Some fun corners here and there, lack of police (Usually at Tim's, Please don't tell me your a police officer )
and here's my favorite corner in Saskatoon! Pretty much no good driving roads here in the city though.

I will have to go down there and check it out, I haven't been down Spidina yet. I just moved here from Edmonton a few months ago. You are definitely right - there really is no fun roads in this city! lol

Be-careful with this one though, I don't think your FR-S can swim lol. You can take the 30kph corner at 70-80kph

Really fun if you hit all the apex's

Really Sharp hairpin turn, great for drift.

Almost understeer'd into a the wall the other day. But Great feel for the G's.

Disclaimer: Make sure to follow all traffic signs and the rules of the road.
If you want to race, take it to track! (If we had one )
Make sure the car is fully inspected and always wear a helmet.

Disregard the police!

I did and I had the first FR-S in SK. Unfortunately mine is now sitting at the dealership waiting for a new ECU and I'm driving a yellow TC loaner. The FR-S got a CEL at 4600kms, but it hasn't been running properly for at least 2 months.

I just want to trade it back now and get myself another 4Runner, but that is proving to be difficult.

Sorry to hear about the troubles you have been having! Hopefully the new ECU will solve the issues and you'll be back behind the wheel soon.

Yeah I read somewhere that FR-S guys with CEL were getting new ECU and BRZ guys were just getting an updated flash.

Gotta revised owners manual in the mail last week from Subaru Canada, how about you guys ?

I haven't received anything from Scion/Toyota yet. I was having issues with the idle dip (never stalled or threw a CEL though) as others reported but after my "break-in" period it went away and I haven't had any issues now. I am almost at 6000 Kms now.

*Knock on wood*
