It sounds like standard pink STI spring is designed for the Stock shock.

Bilstein B8 (or STI tuned Bilstein) might match with new pink STI spring (front is different than standard one) and 18 inch wheel better.

Thanks.
Then you have the Toyota optional shocks from Sachs with the new handling pack which matches the stock springs. Now wouldn't that mean these optional shocks would match the STI Performance Catalog pink springs?

I also thought this option before ( Sachs)

I read the announcement as below

http://car.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/...10_643687.html

It looks like this new shock is for 18 inch wheel, so need to rebalance
the handling and comfortable.

I am not sure the different between the 2015 GT86(FRS) and 2015 BRZ,
but the spring is the only suspension different between 2013-14 FRS and BRZ.

I am a BRZ owner, so I prefer to keep this small unique points and
try to believe that Subaru (STI) can tune this car better than Toyota.

So, I will temporary go STI standard pink spring on stock shock with 17 inch
wheel and wait and see how Subaru modify this parts on 2015 BRZ.

However, I might consider (or copy) BRZ STI (ts) setup (Bilstein+ new STI
front spring) or Toyota (Sachs), if I upgrade to 18 inch wheel.

Thanks.

That's a very good point, I totally forgot about the 18" staggered setup they tested these shocks with (F: 215/40/R18 R: 225/40/R18).

If you look at the STI Peformance Catalog, they will specify if the part is compatible with Rev. A (MY2013) or Rev. B (MY2014). If they are using stiffer bolts for the engine crossmember and rear shocks, I can't wait to see if they will rate the handling and chassis parts to be compatible with Rev. C (MY2015).

Actually, I am trying to say standard pink STI spring match stock shock
better than Bilstein B8.
So, I change my mind and will not buy the Bilstein B8.
Sorry for the misleading.
Thanks.
