Also are the spal fans necessary?
They are, I have their fan shroud and my turbo blanket rubs against the fan motor. No way in hell the factory fan setup will fit.

Wonder could you notch it? I really dont want to have to buy one more thing lol . I hear the spal fan have to be tapped into the fan harness...is there a wiring diagram for that? Thanks

So I have my kit from JDL. Couple questions:

1. How do I know I have everything?
2. Is the kit supposed to come with a turbine gasket? Mines a 4 bolt don't have it.
3. I only have 3 metal intake piping pieces. I expected more with the no cut option?
4. Is there an instruction manual or diagram at least to get an idea of the routing and order of steps?

Thanks.

I think your first step would've been to contact jdl rather than post here.

Got her on the dyno yesterday
4854
EL Manifold
10 PSI
286/228 on a Mustang Dyno

Waiting on tuner to send the graphs. There is a weird torque dip that I'm hoping he can figure out and correct remotely. Bob Richards, Circuit Motorsports in Orlando FL.

Haven't posted in here yet. I recently ordered a new UEL kit with a GTX2860R Gen 2, both sides fully coated with oil pan and bumper bar. Should be shipping this week, hopefully!

Collecting supporting mods in the meantime.

Sorry to be catching up on this after so long. I was super busy getting things installed at the end of last summer and then tuning it. I then forgot everything I said I'd do because I'm a doofus (as my post history portrays).

You should check out the update I just did to my build thread for some more info (and legit idiocy). If you have any questions, let me know.

I've had zero spool up issues with the 2867r in mine. Any reason why the 60r instead? Just want the latest and greatest? Did Jesse recommend that based on track metrics?

Btw, was wondering when you'd finally grab a kit.

If you need any info, I've already been through the joy of the install, so ask away.

Was plug-n-play? No hack job to get done?
