Do the whole lip on the car. Mask off the part of the bumper you dont want to dip, if you overspray in any areas, lay it on thick in those areas and it'll peel right off. Watch the dipyourcar.com videos on YouTube for instructions.

I'm going to sound like the biggest nerd, but the Vallejo model paints would work great for this. I had a chip on a matte black part before and had some on hand and it matched 100%. And a bottle is like $2.

Wow I take it back, that looks great. Maybe there was less damage than you thought once it was cleaned up.

Yeah it looks good. he actually used some sand paper first and then spray the area with a mate black paint specific for oem plastic bumpers, fenders, etc.

Ok i just asked him and he used a paint called "Crest", go to this link and scroll down all the way down to there you find the item called "Bumper Coat , Matches OEM finishes. Excellent adhesion/flexibility. Recoats bumpers, filler panels, moldings, underhood plastics."

Just remember that he first used a very thin layer of sand paper and then apply about three coats.

Anyone else find a more readily available bumper paint that matches other than the Crest? ie rustoleum, etc??

Any satin black should be close enough way down there.
