Way ahead of you. If I remember correctly, Clannad is the only anime to ever make me actually cry.

Grave of the firefly is the only ghibli I only watched once. It was too much for 10 year old me.... that thing needs parental guidance.

10 yo watching Grave of Firefly, that's harsh... I'm surprised you didn't get traumatized

Same here, even watching School Days I didn't cry. Very few shows give me that brief sensation of eyes filling up with tears. Even really funny shows don't make me cry from laughing. So how do I know if I really enjoy a show? I can keep watching or rewatching without getting bored.

I've tried to watch anime without subtitles and it's too much. Anymore than simple words and phrases are lost on me. I've been watching anime for 10+ years now. I'd like to try romaji subtitles since I can understand japanese in that form. As it is, I can barely watch noisy english shows without subtitles. For RWBY, I need subtitles for some sections.

Do sets of 10, 15, or even 20 throughout the day. Doing 100 pushups in one go is a lot for anyone. And carrying 2-3 lolis don't count!

Then ruin your childhood by reading about the underlying based story for Totoro.

Update time. I have watched four of the six feels' shows, as well as Bungo Stray Dogs and Fafner Exodus. Fafner might have been a bit better for me if I had watched the first season, but only the second was recommended to me so I was lost half the time. As far as mecha anime goes, I'm enjoying Iron-Blooded Orphans much more. Stray Dogs was good, I did enjoy it.

AnoHana - Saddest of the four I've watched, I think. Very cute and emotional. I liked this one a lot.
Kids on the Slope - Second to least sad. It was certainly a roller coaster, but it mostly depended on the main character not knowing how to have friends. I did enjoy the characters and their interactions and overall it was a good show.
Charlotte - Loved the premise, art and characters, but probably the least emotional of the four (my opinion). There were a few heart wrenching moments, but it's short run time and generally positive tone kept it from really punching me while I was down.
Golden Time - While probably not the saddest (again in my opinion), I feel like this one carried the most emotional weight. This could be because it's the longest of the four, but either way I did really enjoy the pacing and I legitimately feel for the characters. While this one gives AnoHana a run for it's money as my favorite thus far, I will say that the pairing being so obvious from the very beginning did bother me a little, especially since I thought someone else was best waifu, but that's probably my only gripe.

Rewatching Code Geass as I lost the desire to keep watching all the newer shows.

Holy crap I forgot a lot of the story. Up to episode 10 now, damn this is good.
