I’m leaning towards that, a blown fuse wouldn’t only work intermittently and maybe the car battery isn’t holding a charge

But you didn't have an issue starting the car?

No, she starts up without hesitation. Only problem is that it takes a second to recognize the key. But that’s only after it’s been sitting for a while. If I go somewhere and walk back to the car, everything works as it should.

yeah when it first happened, i had to use the actual key to unlock. would drive it, park it, go back to it and sometimes the doors would unlock, sometimes not. When it was at its worst, i had to put the key right up to push button to start it.

replace battery and car would start like a dream but intermittently not unlock the doors. replaced batteries in remotes and it worked. had the car battery tested before replacement and it was pretty much DOA.

Sweet, I’m gonna try that first before anything. I know the battery is still under warranty so it won’t cost me anything. I had the battery tested a few days ago and it came out as a good test though which is weird. Starting to think it’s the fob batteries

This started happening to me recently too, Sometimes the FOB works, and sometimes it doesn't. Same with backup FOB and I have barely used that. I guess I'm going to have to try switching batteries. Just got a brand new Car Battery with more power a few months ago.

Remember that your backup fob is the same age as the main one. They are both searching for the car all the time so even if it isn't "used" it is still draining the battery.
