A friend of mine had a Vehi-Cross. It was pretty cool and handled very well.

Just thinking about it,it was a crossover before there even was a such thing as crossovers.

I'm in the process of trading in my AT 86 for an MT BRZ, and the salesperson has told me they're going turbo or bigger motor in 2020 or 2021. Good to know!

And the Toyota salesman I talked to 6 months ago told me they weren't making a 2019 model of the 86.

I would imagine that Subaru would probably hand-me-down a watered down version of the current WRX motor since they are more than likely making a completely new motor for the next gen WRX and STI.Doing that would be way cheaper than having to actually develop a completely new motor for the BRZ.


This is speculating under the assumptioin that the salesperson actually knows what the hell he/she is even talking about,and we know how that goes most of the time.

Well, not too far off. Although that is a Model T, I spent hours and hours behind the wheel of my grandfather's Model A pickup, driving all over my known world (however, actually, I really never left the old barn where it was stored).

Courting started between "driving" the Model A and really driving my 1948 Chevrolet coupe, I got when I was 14 years old.

The FA motor is relatively new is it not? They just released a FA24 turbo in the Ascent, and the current WRX already has the FA20 turbo. If anything I see them replacing the EJ25 in the STI since I think that's been around forever and they're still using that one in the STi…..

The most informed salesmen are the ones that read and believe all of the stuff on the internet. How could they possibly be wrong when people clearly state that their speculation is fact because they read it on a car blog?

Its because salesman = sells cars
car salesmen = knows how to sell cars
