oil temp has to go above 100C to boil off water contamination in the crankcase. Condensation happens when the engine cools down and it's a byproduct of compbustion. If the oil can't heat up and boil off the water, it will damage your engine. That's why oil coolers can be dangerous and getting the wrong thermostat is too. Just as bad, is not driving your car and getting it heated up every now and again. Grandmother cars tend to have engines that go to shit at very low mileage, contrary to common wisdom.

So yes, you are not doing your engine any favors and you have to fix it. Go back to the OEM thermostat. If you track the car, get an oil cooler but use one that can be shunted for normal everyday use.

OEM fan tables: 95C on - 91.5C off

In my case
NTC thermostat opens at 82C, fully open at ~89
NTC fan tables: 90C on - 87.5C off

In my case the lower thermostat helped me by reducing flkc as coolant lowers intake temperatures.
Exactly, my use case is different as I simply go by the stock thermostat of course.

OP will have to edit the fan tables to his tstat which I hope he understands.
