They've arrived!

Two boxes came in this morning..

From Jesse Streeter

From CarMods Australia

Opened up the smaller box first..
Hella Supertones

Also in the same box..
Perrin Rear Shifter Kit

The bigger box was opened..
BeatRUSH MCB

Modellista Rear Pods/Spats

Genuine Modellista!

Also forgot to mention, the CUSCO shifter kit came in on Friday. Just took a pic of it. I thought the blue parts were poly/rubber material but they are actually anodized aluminium. Interesting. Will be jacking up the car and installing this with the PERRIN shift kit tonight. Oh, here's a happy snap with the CUSCO on scales.

Got a PM from Ray @ Carsmo... looks like next week will be bodykit week.

YEAH!!!!

BeatRUSH installed.

Installed.. Took me about.. 1 hour believe it or not.
10mins to do the actual install.
15mins trying to fish out my dropped ratchet - handy tip when you install it(hold onto the wrench TIGHT).
10mins searching for a stronger magnetic pickup tool.
15mins searching for my own magnetic pickup tool(after I successfully retrieved said wrench from the bottom of the engine bay using the strong mag. pickup tool)
10mins to jackup the front of the car and remove the drivers side wheel.

Removing KDT926

Jacked up the car, removed WhiteLine KDT926 shift kit. Installed CUSCO shift kit in its place.

Whiteline prior to uninstallation

Comparison of Shift Kit thickness. WhiteLine slightly bulges out by 1.5mm

CUSCO Shift Kit installed in cradle brace

Weighed them both up for the weight conscious.

I haven't driven it yet :/ as the car is still on jack stands(I started the install on the car after work @ 1:30am, finished 2:30am)
I still have to finish installing the Perrin rear shifter bushing, then most probably go for a test drive later tonight if I manage to get it all done.

Just came back from an 1hr+ long 'testdrive'.
For me.. the CUSCO feels soo much better. Feels more like a race-car than a truck if I had to say it.
The CUSCO one seems slightly noisier, but has LESS vibration. VS's the WhiteLine being slightly more quiet, but more vibration.

Vibration. I can handle the noise, the 86 is alot more quiet compared to my other car. Vibration makes me feel as if there's something wrong with the car.
