I cant believe how many of you like the look of that front end...

I find it makes the car look dated and older then it is. Reminds me of a mazda mx3.

I love Akio San and his efforts and passion with Motorsports. But honestly, that is one of the ugliest frs I've seen. Gazoo has always had some extreme and rather ugly aero. I don't know about the motor, but even if it had 500hp, I would choose a stock frs.

Any updates on this? Someone today was telling me about "Gazoo racing+a white FRS+300hp+ etc... from like 5yrs ago."

I'm guessing it was this. Would WTB lol

This might be the one they were talking about but it's only 3~4 years old.

Gazoo Racing also did the white turbocharged G-Sport concept back in January 2010 that would actually be five almost six years old...(damn have I been here that long.)

From the exterior design only, I see minor changes. Hardly noticeable to anyone who doesn't own an FRS. I don't see what all the fuss is about with its' appearance. My own opinion is the front looks worse, the vents on the side are way too small and shouldn't have been added to a car of this size (they look much better on lambos, where the vehicle is much wider allowing for wider/noticeable vents) and I'm still staring at the rear trying to find a difference. Since 2013, I'm very disappointed this is all they came up with.

Take the Toyota Camry for example, when they redesign the model, it is clearly takes different appearance. There was no change after all these years in the design. smh

This was posted in 2012.

The is also Gazoo's own personal concept vehicle. The 2016 86 GRMN production model was recently announced and photos have already been released. It actually looks nothing like this and there are very little cosmetic changes to the car. There are little to no performance improvements as far as the engine is concerned. The major difference is the car will be a limited production release with a full lip kit and GT wing coming standard. I believe the suspension has been upgraded as well. It will not be heading stateside if you're in the US.

I mean, the power might not be much different, but that variable length intake manifold is pretty rad

True, but I can find many other things I'd much rather spend $54,000 USD on than a slightly improved twin.
