FYI I've had no luck getting any response from Scion in regards to pizza or swag.

What time do we need to be in Woodland? Have not seen that here yet.

I'd be going down Kitsap Co. to Olympia rather than starting in Seattle.
I'm thinking
11:00 - 1:00 meet at Woodland Intermediate School

1:00 - 4:00 Drive west to NF-25 then head North to Randall then West to gas station at Avery Rd & I-5.

4:00 - 4:30 Quick meet up at the gas station and do a raffle of anything that might have been donated.

If it happens to be flogging down rain we may want to shorten up the meet a bit and switch the drive to something less remote. I'll look for an alternate route in this area. Maybe make a run to the Johnston Ridge observatory as the adverse weather fall back?

I'll be going from Lacey, if anyone has solid plans to meet in Olympia let me know and I'll run vanguard with a radar/laser detector

Do we know if lunch is being provided or not? If not, I was going to suggest meeting for Lunch somewhere prior to the run.

What are the plans from 11 - 1PM?

Just for my own clarification here, has this become more of a cruise type event rather than a meet?

Either way, it sounds like a great idea

We were trying to make it the same as last year which was meet at a central location between Seattle and Portland to hang out for an hour or so while eating food. Then take a scenic drive with a scavenger hunt. Then a raffle either at a midway point or at the end with lots of prizes for basically everyone.

Kevin took over the planning since Darren is too busy remodeling his house. Darren was in charge of the the scavenger hunt, which fell off the radar since he's busy. Sponsors fell through for food and swag so no free food and no extra prizes at this point as far as I know. So far it's looking like a meet then drive with some raffle prizes given away sometime before of after the drive, all donated from fellow owners. Some of them are decent prizes like a one night stay at a hotel near the PDX airport with $50 dining credit.

It sounds like a good time. Depending on circumstances, I may tag along with my outcast of a car haha

A good cruise is always fun!

I wouldn't say I took over planning. Just threw out some ideas and took action to ensure we had a solid meet up location where we wouldn't be hassled and then a route for what looks to be a fun drive.

I'm really strapped for time and tried reaching out to Steve Dahlberg with Scion and got no response and have not had time to continue chasing a food donor for the meet. We're in recovery mode trying to quickly put this together so if someone has a contact with a dealership or one of the local vendors please help out and see if we can get someone to donate what would amount to $50-$70 worth of pizza. Ahhem... @PERRIN_Mladen @FRES86 lol. David Killion works for a Oregon City Subaru but I don't know if he's on the forum.

Although I can't make it this year, I would like to add this request. Please make this event well documented, dedicate someone to 'journalism', taking pictures and/or video and having some written commentary in the end. Sponsors like to see evidence of participation and publicity before donating swag and sponsorship.

I know a sales manager and the gm of Gresham Subaru but I've never been involved or even been to one of these meets so if someone could give me info on what to ask them for or talk to them about I might be able to help make something happen
