Just whatever autozone sells for high temp wrinkle black. The trick is once you paint, use a heat gun until it starts wrinkling. If you let it air dry it won't look this nice.

I put the ARP head studs in along with the headgasket
Pic of the head fresh from the machine shop and then installed on the block The head was torqued down to 30-60-90 ft/lbs The head has supertech stainless intake valve and supertech inconel exhaust valves. Kelford 272 cams, and supertech single valve springs and titanium retainers.

I laughed when a read this. My first car was blue; I had it painted black. My second car was white; I had it painted black. My third car was black. My first motorcycle was silver; I put black (carbon fiber) fairings on it. My fourth car was black. My fifth car was black. My current Ducati is red and white, but the rest of the bike is painted black (this is a new change for me). My current car (the BRZ) is black.

Another update!
I cut 3/4 squares in the trans tunnel to clearance the trans. I tried for a month different methods recommended to me, in the end I should have went with my gut and done this day one. I will box these notches up from the inside with some tack welds and clean it all up later but for now this is what it looks like: Here are the Pure Automotive engine mount brackets installed: Now it's time to start installing my Maverick adapter plate and spec twin disc clutch kit: Let me be very blunt here... Maverick was not clear and concise when creating their instructional PDF, nor are they offering reasonable response times to customers with questions. Please be aware that if I had to do this over again and if I hadn't received such a great deal on all this stuff, Collins would be getting my business. Collins offers great phone support and also they have DIY videos of them installing their products with step by step instruction. You live and you learn though. My trans is installed and i'm still not happy. I may or may not have to remove it to take off the flywheel (if Maverick ever decides to get back to my emails, voicemails, or facebook messages).

They answered my email eventually vaguely and incorrectly at that. They somehow gave me wrong information regarding something I didn't even directly ask them.
But once again PURE has been a great contact for me and they are able to give me all the answers I need. Now if I can only get a real ETA for my SerialNINE shifter
