Fastest you've ever driven

Just curious. I saw this thread on the Camaro5 forums back when I was thinking about getting a ZL1, and it's usually interesting to hear people's stories.

For safety's sake and for everyone's best interest, I hope your top speeds were done somewhere legal. If not, it's probably not the best idea for you to state when/where you did it.

Personally, I've had my C6 up to 165mph (265km/h), and that was utterly terrifying to me. The hypothetical top speed on the FR-S (6MT) has the car breaking that speed by a few mph at redline in 6th, but with wind resistance that'll never be anywhere near possible.

Since this thread will be full of high speeds.. Ill go with a lower one..
200km/ 125mph
Top speed does not matter for me. Corner speed matters. That is where the fun is..

105.

I'm not a thrill seeker and to be honest, higher speeds scare me a bit haha I only did that much because a good friend balked at the fact that I had never been over 100. I'm sure my car could have done much more but I didn't want to push it too hard.

126mph end of 5th gear. 6th gear to anything higher is like slow motion.

I've been over 100mph in both my MX-3 and the tC (but not the FR-S, only 95 or so), and for the 88hp MX-3 that was a heck of a feat that required a very flat, rather long, basically straight road that might be somewhere outside of Salinas, CA...

155 E46 M3 on a quiet stretch near Modesto, CA. Part of my more stupid younger days. I don't suggest it.

145ish in my GTO, bone stock, on the emptiest stretch of straight highway through West Virginia I've ever seen. Still comfortable as all hell.

2000 Civic Si 144mph
1993 Rx-7 150 mph
2004 STi 155 mph
2002 Yamaha R6 166 mph

all in the middle of the desert except the STi, that was on the H2 cutting through the middle of a rain-forest on Oahu. fun times =D

(only hit 124 mph in the FR-S though, not really trying to break records in it though lol...)
