What's this heresy I hear about San Antonio Valley Rd being closed and will it be open by the day of the meet?!

If you go there (dine-in) with 3 friends and ask to share a whole pie they will say no, they have a policy to charge each individual the full price of a slice (around $6-7 per slice + tax!). Shari's Pies is better tasting AND they don't have a problem splitting a pie amongst friends. And its around $4 a slice!

sounds like there's a good chance it will still be closed.

South Bay attendees should plan to keep an eye on the situation and take the 680 route to Livermore if necessary.

Ugh, that's a bummer. I was 100% looking forward to a Hammy drive too...

I've never actually eaten IN Heidi's, always bought to go. We've got Shari's up here in Oregon too, but somehow I always liked Heidi's better.

from what the info says, it's open outside of the hours marked, so presumably after 4 pm or on sundays would be fine?

Mt. Diablo is probably still open... it's Mt. Hamilton that might be closed. But the Livermore side to the Junction ought to still be clear.

Lol, I meant Mt. Ham haha. Mt. Diablo is actually not that fun, waaay too many cyclists and way to narrow to give them enough room to pass.

Livermore to the Junction was open last Thursday. A little bit of crap on the road and one water crossing on the Alameda County side. Very nice once you crossed the Santa Clara county line. I'm not sure where it is, but there is a closure somewhere up the way to Hamilton.

I believe you pay for every person for the lunch, which is up to you, but definitely only once to get into the park (parking fee).
