I'd bet if you got a G27 steering wheel + gearbox and a copy of assetto corsa or iracing it'll get them interested ^^ I've been preparing my little boy and a few of my friends' kids

No Campagnolo on your steeds ? I'd take Campy over the Red22 DT any day of the week.

Red22 for the absolute weight advantage. Been a sram guy since double tap. if i wanted soft and cushy i'd go DA. Never considered campy as it's difficult to get replacements parts for it. Not worth it for me as I'm not hipster enough.

The older S-works Tarmac SL4 gets the ultegra treatment, the Cento 10 air gets the DA9100, dogma f10 gets the red22.

I'll leave it up to your imagination what frame I put the etap on.

And how exactly are you going to prevent the car from stalling when its stopped without depressing the clutch? You could slip it into neutral I guess, but then you'd have to get it back into first without stalling.

I live in south-central Kentucky and drive 150 miles a day on my commute. Half is on incredibly fun twisties and the other half is I-65 where the average speed is 85mph up until the last three or four miles, where it drops to 70 and, finally, down to bumper to bumper 45 mph the last mile or so.

That's why I drive a stick. I used to commute to downtown Seattle or Bellevue (depending on my contract). If I lived there I would have no desire to own this car. No point. I couldn't really enjoy it enough to make it worth the money without getting hundreds of tickets and losing my license. Out here the concern is deer, not cops. Drift all you want. Heck, going 70 in a 55 near Louisville it is common to get passed by cops.

If I had to do a lot of rush hour, I'd get an automatic, and that automatic would be attached to something cheaper and quieter.

BTW, 152k miles now on my 2013. I'm picking up my 8th set of tires next month when Costco puts the Michelin PSS's on sale again.

Are you actually implying that because you can put a car in neutral and coast downhill and brake using the e-brake only, that that means that, as a general statement, "You don't have to use the pedals in stop and go traffic in a manual car" is a fact?

Yes, technically there is a single scenario in which you can "drive" in stop and go traffic using no pedals. But you could just do the same thing in an auto lol

There is a whole class of racing dedicated to doing just that!

With the exception of blipping the throttle, I do all that with my AT all the time.
