I think the 50th Anniversary will be more rare than the tS. Our store got 3 tS’s and 1 50th anniversary.

Does anyone know if the 50th Anniversary BRZs are manual-only?

The only code for the BRZ 50th Anniv is JZE-50. “JZE” refers to a Manual Limited BRZ while the 50 refers to the 50th Anniversary Option. So it looks like it would be Manual only.

This will be confirmed at the Chicago Auto Show in February.

Do the STI wheels fit the PP BRZ (brembo calipers)? Are those STI wheels in the 50th anniversary anyhow?

If you're referring to the 18 inch Wheels on the tS then of course they will fit because the tS and PP have the same Brembo brakes.

There's no other info on the 50th Anniversary except the color and that it is based on the Limited model of the respective car, so we don't know if the STI wheels will be on the 50th Anniversary.

Although it's speculation, it's possible that the 50th Anniversary Edition BRZ will have the Performance Package!

We're currently building 50th anniversary Legacy, Outback, and Impreza models at the Lafayette facility. Heritage Blue is very close to the Twilight Blue color available on Legacy and Outback but a shade or two lighter.

Hmmm... not yet sure how I feel about a BRZ color close to this. I suppose it does have to be fairly safe/conservative if it's going on every single model in the lineup.

Just throw some black RPF1s on it and it'll look fine!

Twilight blue is pretty close to bluish-grey. Can’t imagine a lighter shade of blue for twilight blue without it being borderline gray...

The Heritage Blue Outbacks, and possibly Legacy & Impreza, should be out in the beginning of January, so we’ll see it soon.

It's not that light.

Imagine twilight blue with most of the grey removed and some silver added in its place. It's difficult to describe but the colors are similar enough that they're difficult to tell apart unless the cars are side by side.

Subaru is going all in with a silver theme for the anniversary models. If the BRZ follows the same pattern as the Legacy, Outback, and Impreza models I've seen so far, it will have the following features:

  • Heritage Blue exterior color
  • Silver painted exterior mirrors (like Legacy Sport)
  • Silver painted wheels
  • Silver interior stitching
  • Silver seat belts
  • 50th anniversary badge on both front fenders located approximately here
  • 50th anniversary logo embroidered on front seats
  • Limited trim only

All 3 models we're building adhere to at least those changes so I'd imagine the BRZ will have most or all as well.

EDIT: 50th anniversary package costs $300

As someone who has a twilight blue Legacy (that I don't like the color of) and also doesn't like silver, this 50th anniversary business is starting to scare me. >_<
