Beautiful! The front reminds me of the new NSX.

What did you expect? I think it looks great! Would have been really cool if they went back to flip up headlamps, haha.

Cadillac, and surprisingly Buick - although to a lesser extent, are the only design studios within GM that seem to be able to design anything with any amount of competence.

Chevy is so damn lost right now. We should be thankful that they didn't attempt to do something akin to the mess that is the Camaro and Silverado.

The price tag will be where it sets itself apart. Probably the raw performance numbers too.

Ford did a great job making the Ford GT look like something other than yet another MR supercar. Chevy had decades to work on this MR design. I guess I was hoping for something a little more interesting from them.

Yea, but pedestrian rules are what killed them. You know, the same rules that give us high hoodlines, taller cars, etc?

Ford also designed the GT around a very tight powertrain package. A V8 engine doesn't fit in there, instead we get an Ecoboost V6, which just sounds awful. Is literally the worst sounding race car I've ever personally experienced. I'd much rather have this design (remember this is just a rendering nothing official) with a V8 engine than the GT's engine in ANYTHING.

Hmm I wonder if it's related to the Ecoboost 3.5L in the Taurus SHO. I drove one of those and remember being impressed with that powerplant (can't recall the sound though).

I do love a nice sounding V8 though.

Some forged internals and bigger direct injectors and twin turbo is the only difference.

Agreed! Even the powertrain engineers for these Vettes have to have specially approved permissions to access the vehicle CAD data. So sometimes I believe it could be true, because someone from GM Warren could have leaked some.
