There aren't thousands of ECUTek tuned FT86's out there, let alone from Visconti himself.

Sunoco 93 octane on the 93 octane FI Visconti tune. this was just a few minutes of tooling around at various speeds and RPM. Enjoy!
Did you really only exceed 4k RPM once in that log??

I do have to say that 1. I'm sure there will be far better tunes down the road (and maybe already). 2. Sometimes it misbehaves if it doesn't get exactly the right juice but 3. The Visconti e85 tune is pretty pimp compared to stock... and was way ahead of the game. I'm sure I'll move on but man I have enjoyed it and he does deserve some kudos for cutting the trail.

Definitely, like I've stated numerous times, I don't mean to say ALL of his tunes knock. There are some people out there with great tunes and customer support experience with him. I'm really happy for all of them. Me and some other have not had that good luck. My only reason to post my info is to let people know that not everyone with a tune is 1000% perfect and zero problems. All customer should know the good AND the bad. It allows them to make an informed decision.

I am SURE John could have improved my tune with Dyno time, but 3 months of waiting for him to get on the dyno was more than enough. Of course, that does not take away from the fact that after 15 e-tunes I still had -5 knock. That to me is completely unacceptable.

except, based on the logged timing values i have seen, his E85 tunes goes beyond MBT, several degrees past where i stopped seeing any gains on the dyno when i was doing my E85 tune.... Could be a difference in the way ecutek and brzedit report timing values but i'm not so sure.

Mean best torque. In simple terms, when you're tuning you keep advancing timing until you stop making power. After that it's 1) obviously not worth any gains and 2) more det prone.

Why do you think there is so much advance in the high load low RPM area? This seems to be a location where several people are having issues with forced induction cars.

Because that's where you can quickly kill an engine.
