Thank you for responding B L U E S L A T E. I don't have the tools to be able to get under my car like that, and I was wondering if there was a place where I could take my FRS to get the undercarriage cleaned, and get the panels installed afterward ? (Well once we are able to pick them up).

A shop with a lift perhaps..., but you knew that already. Otherwise, ask around and find out if any of your friends have access to a floor jack and jack stands?

Didn't realize how much paperwork is involved to get these. I tried clearing but didn't have anything and I have to go back to work. Friday is my day off when I will be able to go. There's about $150 of fees, so the savings of shipping to port are less. Should've just shipped to my home and not have to deal with the hassle of clearing through customs and picking up at the port. Lesson learned...

I apologize to everyone that placed an order that this is taking longer than expected. Work has been really hectic lately so I am unable to take time off. The last day the warehouse will hold it is tomorrow, and as I have to be the one to clear it, and can't get time off. I will pay the holding fee as its my fault that I can't get it.

Is anyone else interested in doing another GB? If we have another 8 people, I may be down to initiate another. Japan parts is quoting $1851.22 for 8 sets delivered to my door in Lakewood. (Excluding taxes and duty) @JDKane527, do you know if we have to pay taxes or anything else besides what's quoted by JapanParts? Customs fees are included when shipped to door.

Is that the total when you did the Paypal checkout? They might add other fees upon delivery. Don't believe they charge tax though. I got quoted $1,735.07 shipped to port. Then I'm getting slammed with a $56.00 and $70.00 fee, besides a Customs Duty fee.
Total coming out to $1861.07 before Customs Duty fee, already more than what you are paying.

Then again, exchange rate is better now for us, being that $1USD = 98.96 Japanese Yen, whereas when I ordered, $1USD = 93.68 Japanese Yen.

I chose to ship to port being clever that we can avoid fees, but in the end, get screwed. Lesson learned, just ship to door haha. Saves yourself the hassle of dealing with customs and they deliver it to you, and it arrives faster.

Edit:
Turns out customs was chill and didn't charge me anything more haha.

Yeah I went all the way to checkout and that was what they quoted me. I know the exchange rate is lower now so I figured thats why it was close to what you paid.

Nice dude, sounds like a good opportunity, but if you wait the rate might change in your favor

Aero qualities? Protecting the underbody(even if minor)? I was at the track at Streets of willow and ran over a big chunk of asphalt that was left on the track. Now I have a nicely sized scrape on the passenger side, luckily it didn't tear thru.

Plan is to pick them up Friday at LAX. If you are on the way back for me, we can meet up Friday. If not we will make arrangements over the weekend. I'd like to get these out to everyone by this weekend since it's tieing up my funds haha.

Eh, still much better then when I ran the last one for people in Socal, although it did only take 1 week to get delivered. Back in October it was $1=¥78.

Btw, if anyone needs to borrow the trim remover I have one. Just let me know.

Yeah, I'm nowhere close to your rout to and from LAX. We may have to make other arrangements. Maybe we can all do a little meet up with all the guys that's in on this group buy. Maybe somewhere around Pasadena or East Los area?
