Took me a LOT longer to do my slammer. Getting that pin out for the reverse lockout was a PITA!

I'm glad you stressed the point about leaving the punch-key in and shifting to reverse before taking it out!

I made the mistake of not doing that and indeed the lockout dropped and it was MURDER to figure out how to maneuver it back!

I had to mutilate the stock plastic reverse lockout to get the damn pin off. Thank god it was plastic. And no damage was done to the interior. Just a bunch of plastic shavings everywhere.

Yeah it's really easy once you've seen it done properly. The trick i to leave the pin in and put it in reverse.
