So how are the temps without a ceramic coating? Is it absolutely necessary to get it coated? Or will it be slightly warmer in the engine bay?

This should be no different then most other headers and better than those long tube headers that run infront of the engine.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36306

Depends on what power you want to run, NA or SC, DD only or tracking monster, you live in Alaska or Death Valley...

Well I'm SC'ed living in VA. I just don't wanna have to wait and research places to get the coating done when I can just install headers immediately after I get it.

On another note. How has the experience been so far with these installed with and without a tune? What routes do people intend to take with tuning as well?

Any recommendations @FT-86 SpeedFactory

Interested in this as well. My current and most promising option right now is OFT with UEL tune (with maybe some customizations).

I second that. I have been working with Graham on my Stage 2 tune and its been great. I cant wait to get my header and work with him on the tune.

I do NOT have a tune. Experience so far has been nothing but positive. Power is good without the dip. I'm sure a tune would be better, but it isn't necessary. I'm thinking of going OFT over the summer.
