First month just completed 2000 Km

Hi,

Came from an FPV BF2 GT V8 to this car. Chose it on the value proposition (couldn't get the current FPV GT AT under $70K, and couldn't find a performance rear wheel drive other vehicle at a reasonable price) and the amazing handling reviews. An FPV GT it isn't, but it is the most fun car I have driven since the TR6 I owned many, many years ago.

I have just started to take the revs over 5000 and I am impressed. Keep the boxer over 4000 and you will match "low end" V8s and turbo 6's in "mid speed" performance. This is, for me, where the "paddle" auto excels, the downshift comes close to a perfect "heel & toe" transition. This is truly an amazing vehicle.

Do I think that the $45,000 I paid was over the top. Because I could purchase instantly I was able to get a cancellation from a guy who had ordered the car 4 months before. I paid on the Friday and got delivery 5 days later. Admittedly I was stuck with his choices which included the Aero pack. So, no worth every cent.
