If the new Corvette really looks like this:
... and offers a mid-engine design for $62k with 500hp, it's going to be a game-changer. Especially if the engineers doing the chassis tuning are the same ones who did the C7 Z06. It's almost reminiscent of the original NSX in 1991, which challenged the Ferrari 348 for a fraction of the cost.

After countless hours and resources spent developing these triplets, it's hard for me to believe that they'll be $62k base. If they do offer it at that price, then it's probably just the LT2. Way too many resources are spent for LT6 and LT7 to be sold at that price.

Last C7 sells at $2.7M. Just dam. You can get a 19 Grand Sport 1LT with a M7 for 15% below MSRP. That's a deal. $2.7 not so much.

You can't really say the C7 sold for $2.7M. No one would have paid that much straight out for just the car.

For 2.7M cash, I would retire early and never see rush hour traffic again

I'm a huge analogue fan too.
Watches, gauges, music etc. People bought them in 85-86 and thought they were cool then. They’ll buy them again in 2020 now and think the same. |
