Garage/Shop where I can do my own installs.
I couldn't find anything on Google or the forum...I'm looking for a garage or shop in city or peninsula for rent for a couple hours and install some parts myself.
I don't have the space in the city but want to do the installs myself. Right now I don't need a lift, I'm just putting in a crank pulley, intake, ab exhaust. What do you guys think? If I come up empty on reccomendations I'll just hit one of the shops listed on the other thread. Thanks |

There used to be that kind of a place in SF back in the early to mid 00's where you can rent an area complete with a lift, tools and even a resident mechanic who can answer questions or help you out. Unfortunately, they weren't really making money and has shut down since (the place was full of new DIY'ers and the mechanic would always end up just fixing their car for themselves).
About the closest I could think of is the Techshop (http://www.techshop.ws/index.html) |

Thanks man. Yeah, I totally forgot about Techshop. The one in SF cool, but I don't see a lot of people working on their cars. I might just suck it up and have a shop in south bay put the parts in. it's simple stuff.
