american models headlights.

where i live headlights are amazing and cool looking.

i always check the american versions of cars, lets take the audi TT for example.

why do they have to ruin the beautiful headlight by making it half orange from the side ?

here in dubai the light is all clear with no orange bits.

i noticed this on almost EVERY car.

is it some kind of american must-have thing on cars ?
if yes i think the FT-86/BRZ headlights are not gonna look so good =/

Same here in Australia. Police enforce these laws too. They need to have a special stamp in the plastic, and if they don't have it the fines are very costly.

I personally like the orange accents on NEWER cars because they make it look good. Haven't seen the audi tt's but I know on cars like the tiburon and gen coupe I like it.

Either way the turn signals are above the fogs lights and can easily be smoked. and if anywhere else gets the orange it will be here...

U.S. Department Of Transportation (a.k.a. D.O.T.) mandates that all cars sold in the U.S. must have orange reflectors at the front end of the car; doesn't have to be on the inside of the headlight, it could be on the bumper- which is most likely the case for the FR-S and U.S. spec BRZ. Where the orange reflectors go is up to the car manufactures; BMW chooses (with the exception of the 1er) to place them on the front bumper forward of the front wheel arch because didn't want to ruin the looks of the cars.
