This. Just do this. Now all you gotta do is decide on color.

Just threw in some spc camber bolts, TRD springs, 17x9 et35 rpf1's in gunmetal/dark silver with 235/40 NT01's. The bead came out right at 9" and the sidewall is not stretched at all. Pretty damn happy with the outcome. I also support the million and one +1s on this setup, it really is a good fit for the car.

And yes, I'm daily'ing this

Looks perfect.
Any clearance concerns between the tires and the lower spring perches?

Thanks.

No clearance concerns whatsoever. Done a couple canyon runs to throw her around and no rubbing. Next track day will be in February for further testing, but I'm waiting on my alignment appointment first

Hey guys, been looking through this thread and didn't seem to see too many black Twins running black RPF1's.

I'm trying to decide between the black or the dark bronze --- would love it if anyone could post pictures of their's if they have 'em. Thanks!

Oh and if I happened to miss someone's post that has what I'm looking for, feel free to refer me to it and lightly flame if need be.

Completely opinionated, but I'll bet dark bronze on black will look dead sexy and you will see the wheel spokes and detail easier. But that is a tough call

Personally dislike the black RPF1s on anything, but the Firestorm :\. Black wheels in general hide too much detail and among a black car, it'll look like a blotch.
The bronze though /hearteyes.

That's how I'm feeling at the moment, but would love to see it for myself. Matte Bronze on a Crystal Black Silica BRZ seems like it would be a facking winner.

I've seen other black brz's with black wheels like the 57xtremes and Mach V awesome wheels. But not RPF1's as far as I can remember...

I can't imagine that a 225 would fit well, but IIRC I saw someone post a while back that got them on 9" wide wheels.

Most 225/45-17's are rated for a max 8.5" wide wheel. They will fit on a 9" wide wheel but it's not recommended.

I tried running 225's on these last year and it was pretty stretched. Unless that's the look you're going for, I wouldn't recommend it. The narrowest tire I would put on these wheels is a 245.

Wheel Directory: Enkei RPF1 17x9.0 +35

225 is safe on a 9" wheel. But it looks silly and lacks performance over a 245/255 which will fit better on the wheel.
