About to get first coilovers, anything I'm missing?

Looking to purchase my first ever suspension upgrade and get a set of the RS*S Sports-i coilovers and wanted to check if I might be missing something before I pull the trigger. I am still new to car moding and all the internals of the car but trying to do as much research as I can as I go along.

About my car..

Its mainly my DD, but I go to the track around 3 times a year and hit up the mountains once a month. I am not looking to race at the track competitively ever, I just go for the fun of racing my car, pushing it as much as I can in a safe environment and get some better handling from it.

Wheels - Enkei Kojin 17x9 +45 with 225/40 tires all around. I want to drop the car 1 inch overall. All other performance parts on car are stock.

The RS*R Sports-i seem to be the best of what I want in a good price range. I just want to check if I am missing something before I commit to buying them.

Well I wasnt asking which are best as I already stated that the RS*R Sports-i seem to fit all my needs/price. I was just looking to make sure that I am not missing some part that is essential when getting coilovers.

From a lot of the threads I have seen people talk about also buying camber plates or bushing things, or in threads with springs they mention swaybars. But it seems I wouldn't need those, but I honestly just wanted to make sure because its all new to me.

I really just wanted to see that if I buy these coilovers and install them am I basically good to go with the car I have? Or is there some part of the processes I might be missing?

which tire model you're choosing also has major impact on the performance too, not just the size of it.

Consider getting the camber adjustment kits for front and rear, although a mild drop won't throw the setting off too much. Also, prevailing advice is to max out the front negative camber bolt and then dial in your actual desired setting at the top hat.

I have the RSR's and like them. I think you should consider Subaru crash bolts for the front and an adjustable control arm from the rear. These parts will allow,you to get a solid alignment after install.

On my previous cars/setups I have always purchased coilovers with front camber plates, rear/front dampening and rear lower control arms at the least for maximum adjustments for all types of setups/track.

If he's staying stock and using his car mainly for DD, I think all he would really need are coils and the tools necessary. I could be wrong and i'm sorry if I am!

Why not just springs? Plenty get a 1" drop and improved handling, save money for other bits.

Not necessarily true. Depending on how low he goes, he'd need camber and toe adjustments.
