Since this hasn't been an issue with any other FI kit, the elephant in the room is that the intercooler water pump is the cause. I'd love to see a wiring diagram, but most cars power their injectors and coils off the same supply, and just switch the grounds individually.

My #1 coil went out and I have a non-intercooled kit.

We can do this no problem for people who prefer to stick to OEM injectors.

If you feel that lifting the engine is easy, yes.

You definitely don't have to lift the engine to get the coil packs out.

Hi all,
I have had the sprintex kit on for about a month now and continue to love it - at the moment still have stock headers, overpipe and front pipe. I have the TRD quad tip hi flow muffler.

I am interested in yiour advice re headers, over pipe and front pipe - I want to keep the noise down as it remians my daily driver. My tuner recommends going as big as possible but I am a bit committed because of the quad tips and TRD body kit which I really like ..... also concerned about noise!

Headers, especially catless headers will make it much louder. If you add a overpipe, front pipe with hi flow cat then it will be even louder. I have a lot of sound dampening in my car with catless JDL UEL headers with Nameless overpipe with hi flow cat and helmholtz resonator and it's just on the edge of bareable for daily driving. When I go up a hill it's too loud. Everyone says it's super loud when I'm on the gas that's behind me. I'd say get a catted header if you want the noise to be less, but it will be louder the more exhaust stuff you do. If you just want sound just stick with the axle back. If you want more power spend your money on a supercharger or turbo as the exhaust won't get you much for your money as far as horsepower. Do exhaust after forced induction if you're on a quest for more power. Listen to other locals to get an idea of what you'd be getting yourself into with exhaust mods if possible.

I'm going with the 70mm pulley and intercooler. Would all of you recommend the blue gates performance blue belt? Would anyone say I should not get it or not need it? I've read mixed thoughts on a slightly shorter belt that the blue gates would provide. Some said it's great and some didn't seem to need it. It's kind of expensive so if I don't need it why get it, but if it will prevent issues better than the stock Innovate belt then I should get it.

Thanks for that ..... some of the changes you have done to your car I have been thinking of so really good advice. I am happy with my power increase after the supecharger/intercooler install but once you do it you always want more power!!!!!

Car will throw code for each coil pack if they were faulty.
If you lifting the engine take the chance to change plugs, if you can.

What I would suggest is cut the cats out of your OEM header, open the flow up.
