Mods, please lock out agent scarface from all other forums except the diy forum. He needs to dedicate all his free time to the awesome climate controls!! j/k bud, great job on the controls btw!

So instead of posting anything I will just link the DIY for those that wish to try (super easy)

Place parts in key fob. get key cut and you are done.

Hopefully this post isn't seen as "offensive" and doesnt get deleted.

I know in this day in age it's very hard to trust people but I will say that these guys are very reputable guys and I'm pretty sure they don't want to sabotage their business by trying to make copy of keys and take peoples cars. If that's the case then every business is wrong because they have your address for when you order parts. I totally understand your quote though but trust these guys are legit.

This is the important detail I was trying to figure out. So none of the electronics are duplicated; they're just swapped over? I'm not a fan of the added pocket-bulk of switching to a flip key fob but was considering ordering a pair if it meant cheap spare keys.

These are legit..I got both my FR-S original keys converted to Flip keys.
