With the future wife, all good!

Oh, I hope you recover soon ......

I got food poisoning once.

I'll never forget that night, back in 1969, my younger brother had just got back from a tour in Vietnam and he stopped in to visit us in San Jose.

I was deep into a bottle of whisky, when he said "let's go out into the garage". He rolled up a joint and was puffing away, when I decided to try some of his stuff. After a joint, I told him that it was not good stuff, so I continued in drinking out of my bottle of whisky.

About that time my wife (now ex) brought us out some pizza ...... I ate a bunch of it. My brother rolled me another joint (a bigger one this time) and I was just about done with it, when I finished off the bottle of whisky.

Then it hit me ......... food poisoning !!.........

I managed to crawl into our bedroom where I thought sure I was going to die.

I lived .....

THE END

One of Mrs. Ultra's former colleagues died a week before Christmas. He was found 2 days after he fell off of a ladder in one of those rented storage spaces. Coroner knew it wasn't the fall that killed him because he had taken off his jacket and shirt before he died.

Reminds me of the last time I was up on our roof, a couple years ago, cleaning it off. I stood there and thought to myself ....... I don't belong up here.

I crawled off it, down the ladder and called my son-in-law ......

I'm still having difficulty controlling this little drone ...... it seems to have an affinity for the Christmas tree ......

I guess I should look up on the internet "drone for dummies" ......

Dark matter at work.. gravitational pull generated by the dark matter will pull in whatever you are steering leading to the inevitable coming together of treasured item with scenery.. this explains all unexplained crashes, cars hitting stuff when the stuff is nowhere to be seen until you hit it.

As for 'Drone for Dummies', should it read 'Dummies Drone'?

I have three drones of varying quality. I have zero issues controlling one but the other two have very evident suicidal tendencies as soon as I push a lever. As much as I would like to blame it on the quality of those two my grandson can make them work flawlessly. He even controlled two at once a couple of times.

Aaaaaaaaand the girlfriend and I have been awake for an hour and a half, and I've already managed to put her into a mood by asking if she HAD to use 7 of the 8 hooks we have for towels, house coats, etc.

Apparently her winter jacket and purse MUST be hung up, and I should be able to make due with one hook for my towel and house coat.
