There's a ultramarine (dark blue) fr-s across the street from me with a Perrin exhaust but never met him. I even dropped a business car off for this forum but no idea if he's on here. He probably doesn't know I'm across the street since i park my toys in my garage.

Hi darren,

its the Steel ..has a ever so slight blueish tinge to it. It is mostly the lighting in the above pic..here's me trying to make up my mind between the white and the silver. :P

Ahhh... I forgot they replaced the silver... but in the icons on the owner list it will still show silver, but I get it now!

Hey, everyone. I just picked up a 2014 Subaru BRZ Limited in the Olympia area. I got her used with only 4k miles on it. The previous owner tinted the windows, changed out the exhaust, and put on clear side-markers, so he did a lot of the work for me!

I've already ordered the OEM armrest, chrome fender trim, chrome gas cover, and the OEM subwoofer. The only other thing I'd like to change out is the factory antenna.

This car is replacing a 2003 Outback. It's my first sports coup as well as my first manual (I already knew how to drive stick, just not very wel). I have a lot to learn, but I've never enjoyed driving so much in my life!

Welcome! Good choice in car and transmission. The BRZ/FR-S with the manual transmission definitely brings driving to a whole new level.

Some prefer automatics, and that's fine. But I own nothing but manual.

Plus you don't have to turn down as many people who ask to drive your car. Lots of em see that it's manual, and realize they can't drive it

Congrats! I picked mine up used as well, and same situation with the manual transmission experience. Mine is a '13 that had 11,700 when I bought it but was pretty much stock minus the rear bumper appliqué and trunk liner. Mine is replacing my 2003 Saab 9-5.

Recently "downgraded" from a V8 Lexus to this BRZ. I get far more questions and compliments with this car than I ever did with the Lexus.

As a realtor I was always told that I needed a big 4-door to haul clients around. The reality is that most clients drive themselves and I wanted something that was enjoyable to drive. It was time for a change.

Anybody need to buy a house? I need some more modding funds

Welcome to the community, Dave!

Ironically I just sold my FR-S after 2.5 years of loving it and I am thinking about getting an LS460. Also sold it to fund some renovations on the house, haha... exact opposite of you!

Congratulation on selling your car, I'm sure it'll help to fund the house renovations and good luck with which ever car you buy
