I don't have the breakdown in front of me, but it's $700/6mo for 2 drivers, 3 vehicles, the works coverage with $500 deductible on each vehicle.

I do the same discounts you mentioned. Zip code matters to a point, but mine is PHX so it's nothing fancy.
Just make sure the company has a record of paying out. Paying more is worth it for insurance that actually works of course.

Hmm some of your rates make me reconsider what I am paying to my company. I am 26 with no accidents or tickets on my history and I am paying $200 a month. Time to do some insurance shopping.

ok, but what are the other factors? A) You're a woman. Women Pay Less than men. B) Are you are under your parents insurance? If so that will change it *SIGNIFICANTLY*. C) Any collisions? If yes, that would change it significantly. D) Any tickets?

ect

Keep the record clean. As long as you're living under their roof or the vehicle is their vehicle and you are the primary driver, you can lean on their insurance as a driver. This will allow you to use their driving record, age, discounts such as multi-car, ect to help lower your rates.

Once you get on your own policy without them, it will increase a bit (or a lot) based on loss of discounts such as multi-car / multi-line (this is multiple lines or types of insurance under the same company or account such as homeowners, auto, renters, umbrella, ect). This is also where you driving record becomes a larger hit or miss.

Other things such as age will factor in and marriage status (Single, married, divorced, ect). You will, as you get older and have more needs for insurance, see changes as you go along.

a 19 yr old female with a clean record will have a different insurance rate than a 35 yr old female who is married, has kids, 3 cars, a home insured with the same company, and the same clean record.

Sorry if it's a lot of worthless information, but hopefully the generic information helps.
