Am I being too nerdy being distracted by the fact that 1000 MPH is faster than the speed of sound?

And thats why i love his reviews more then any other journalist. He has a very specific taste in cars, a very true taste if you ask me. He may not be always right but when he is he is hits it right on the fucking head.

It reads like he wrote it as a script for a TV segment, which makes sense given his background.

I don't have a problem with his silly exaggerations and his point is spot on underneath it all.
I just like that he likes our cars. |

I also believe he liked it a lot. Look at the closing statement:
“We thought purpose-designed coupés had gone. We thought wayward handling had gone. And we sure as hell thought genuinely good value had gone. But all three things are now back in one astonishing car.... I’m giving it five stars only because it’s not possible to hand out more". It's just the way he reached that final conclusion was so agonizingly painful to follow! |

I think you're making a big deal over something that's not. I bet if read in it's original format (not jammed together in a forum quote) it'd be easier to follow even with the ridiculousness.
That's just Jeremy Clarkson. |
